Triscits,Wheat Thins? Any Cracker, or Substitue?

  • Hi All, Does any one snack on cackers? Wheat thins or triscits? Any good substites?

    Aside from toast, any good wheaty crunches?

  • Not on Phase I. I put LF cheese on cucumber rounds or celery. In Phase II, you can indulge in whole wheat carbs.
  • I don't know if you would think this is too much like toast, but I like to cut a WW pita into triangles and bake until crispy. Sometimes I brush it with Newman's vinegar & oil dressing before I bake it. Yummy!
  • Even Phase II is pretty slim on crackers, etc. DH really missed them and went to the WASA brand-found in bigger stores with specialty crackers-he said they were better than nothing if that's any testimony! If you need crunch try the small celery pieces with either Laughing Cow Cheese or Natural Peanut Butter! Most crackers have flour or the dreaded trans fats!
