unsupportive partners

  • Argh my boyfriend is driving me nuts. I've done a whole week of healthy eating but my lovely boyfriend has come home from work twice this week with fast food. I was very good and declined even though he was all 'go on have a chip it won't hurt' and then he just sent me a picture of a massive fresh cream cake they are eating at work. Does he want me to stay fat?! He doesn't get it at all, he has a little bit to lose but he's not overly bothered by it but me on the otherhand have loads to get rid of and have horrible health anxiety about it.

Anyone else have a feeder other half? I will stay strong and avoid his crap.....i hope.
  • my husband has made strides, but he still pretty bad. I feel your pain. He used to sit and eat an entire bag of chips laying on the couch watching me exercise.

I will suggest you be mean to him. Tell him you're changing your lifestyle and that's not acceptable. Take his rump to counseling and explain it to him in therapy. It's that serious. You're not going to reach your goals with him sabotaging you. If he wants fast food he needs to do that on his own time.
