Getting back on track after a few months of goofing off?

  • Hey everyone. I've lost 100lbs so far but the last three months I've just been hanging around 190 and this is partly due to poor eating, a new relationship and change in jobs.

So basically I am just wondering what you guys would suggest to really get yourself back on track when you're feeling a little out of control? I just want to lose 30 more pounds but really I'd be happy just to get 10 or 15 off.

Realistically I am happy to be down 100lbs and I am still working out and I have goals for my fitness levels still. I still eat healthy and my portions are not so crazy anymore. I still have my binge days, but mostly even a 'bad' day is not too terrible these days. However, it's enough to keep my weight loss stalled.

Now don't get me wrong, it's not an unexplainable "plateau". I know what's happening. I'm eating junk food more often and that's just a fact.

So I guess maybe for people who've been through this part of long term weight loss, what do you recommend? I mostly just want to get the weight loss rolling again. I know it will be a bit of discipline but some encouraging words couldn't hurt.
  • I need this too!!
I had an unexplained plateau all during Dec. and most of Jan. Then, after a bit of a loss at the end of Jan and beginning of Feb, I saw it stall again. So, what did I do? I started nibbling on junk and feeling sorry for myself! I haven't been able to exercise....several issues....but I am getting started, on that, again today!

I hate ruts! I don't like them when it's me eating right and the scale not showing it and I don't like them when it's a mental/behavioral rut either!

Hoping to jump start a new loss starting today. Heading out to the gym now!!

I started at 281.4, currently at 226.8 and my goal is 165!
