I have been in and out of gyms my whole life and coupled with years of yoyo dieting always brought me back to square 1.
Now I'm back in the gym after a 3 year hiatus....have been working out there for about 3 weeks now. Still going through that initial gym intimidation phase that i really hate, where i'm the noob and people shamelessly staring sigh.
What i have noticed is that with time everyone gets more or less used to you and everyone pretty much seems to concentrate on their own workouts.
My biggest friend in there is my ipod, i turn the music up loud and block out all the "noise"...and find that i am able to get through my workouts quite well.
Would be great to know of others experiences too
