After my doctor's appointment on the 5th my doctor's nurse called me and told me my blood tests look great, Everything is down compared to where I was a year ago and then she said that my doctor said to keep up the good work so that phone call made me feel really good and its more motivation to keep going.
Congrats!! Non-scale victories are the best aren't they? I've taken up the Couch25K app on my phone and was able to jog a mile straight in under 12 minutes. Doesn't sound like much, I know, but for someone as unathletic and sedentary for me, that was a big milestone! Almost as nice a feeling as reaching ONEderland. Keep up the good work and remember these NSVs when the scale plateaus.
Candidcamster: I love that quote. Thanks for sharing it.
My non-scale victory. I bought my current coat at the start of this winter. It was the largest size available in the store. It barely fit. I'm starting to notice less of a tightness around the tummy area.
Thought I'd check in since it's been awhile! Looks like everyone is have a lot of success! I'm very pleased to say that I left behind over 27 pounds while I explored this forum! Some day I feel like I could eat a whole cow but most are going by quite easily. I don't really have cravings (much) but I did stand at my open pantry looking at that jar of peanut butter ( I had to leave something for hubbie to snack on!) and thinking how good it would taste on some celery but I shoved the jar to the back corner where I won't see it and ate my celery plain. It was still good!
Have a great day and stay stronger than your cravings!!
