Superbowl Parties, anyone?

  • I am hosting a superbowl party, and I've already gotten some questions about snacks (I LOVE cooking, and before I started dieting I would always whip up lots of little appetizers... not the healthiest, but also I'm flattered that they like what I make )

I've already decided that we'll do the usual, chips and dip, maybe a few other things, and I'll just make tomorrow a "cheat" day where I aim for maintenance calories instead of loss, and make sure to write down what I eat.

Actually, I just realized... this is the first cheat day I've had since I started dieting! That's pretty awesome.
  • Nice Hey, they do come once in awhile, but you're making progress in the long run and that's what matters ^^
Have a lovely cheat day! haha
  • we're having a mini superbowl party.but, we're going to have a mix of healthy stuff (fruit, cheeses, nuts) and very unhealthy stuff (wings, chips, soda). I'm hoping to keep under my calorie count still, although I feel like it may be a cheat day depending on how the day goes
  • We're going to one in a couple of hours. Bringing (in addition to the beer) baby carrots, hummus, and some diet soda so I know there will be something I can eat/drink if I'm trying to limit alcohol and less healthy food.
  • Hope everyone had an enjoyable Superbowl Sunday! That was quite an unbelievable game. This was my first 'free' day since I began watching my diet as well. It was well worth it, but I know I'll feel a slight sense of regret in the morning.
