Do you drink coffee? Has it affected your weight?

  • Do you drink coffee? Do you think it has affected your weight?
  • Yes and it has not affected my weight because I use flaxseed milk in it and take no sugar.

When I drank 2% lattes, that did affect my weight.

I think it has affected my weight, but in a good way. I drink coffee with stevia powder (two tiny spoons) and a tablespoon of heavy cream. It's such a treat, it can help stave off hunger pangs and cravings. Plus, if it's caffy coffee, it can give me that little extra boost that helps with exercise and chores.
  • Coffee helps me a lot.
    I drink it black.
It curbs cravings for sweet stuff very well.
It may even rev up my metabolism.
    Good stuff!
  • I drink one cup a day and to be honest I don't think it's impacting on my weigh at all. Now, I drink a lot of tea and it definetly curbs my sweet tooth in occasions.

Teas are one of my saving graces in this diet/way of life. I like the Celestial Seasonings teas, hibiscus, and also green tea. Green tea benefits greatly, imo, from a couple tiny spoons of stevia.

Talking about tea, I got this chocolate Chai tea from Tazo, never had it before so I can't wait to try it

That sounds so good! I need to pay more attention to the tea section, especially as I near my goal weight.

Yesterday, because I had just done a massive, crazy workout, I decided to treat myself as I grocery shopped, and had a Arizona Zero Calorie Green Tea with Ginseng. I wouldn't normally have it, because it had sucralose, which doesn't sound natural to me (bottle says everything is "100% natural"). BUT I WAS DESPERATE! And it was such a simple pleasure.
  • Yes! About 3 cups a day. With a touch of cream and honey! It's a great tide over until my next meal! Seems to help stave off hunger for a bit longer.
