Good summary article of why full fat dairy is the way to go.

  • Assuming you tolerate dairy, full fat and grass fed if you can are the way to go.

    This is a great article.http://chriskresser.com/still-think-...ce-think-again

We only have full fat in our house. We have Kalona Greek yogurt 3 grams carbs, 8 grams saturated fat per serving. Heavy cream, hard cheeses, full fat sour cream, butter of course. If you shop at Costco look and see if they Kerrygold butter in a three pack: delicious and mostly grass fed. Our Costco also had Kerrygold Dubliner cheese some of my favorite cheese in the world, kind of a mild, fruity cheddar. Loads of flavor.

Full fat dairy, great tasting and great for weight, heart disease, and cancer. Just a win win win food.

Note grass fed dairy particularly good for breast cancer as it is a great source of K2.
  • I couldn't agree more! Let's spread the word.

I have a mom friend who is also a pediatrician. We were friends before she was practicing medicine in our area. She was taking a few years off to be a mom. Well, when we used to hang out more, I generally thought the way her family ate was not healthy. Now she is our pediatrician and in my daughter's annual well visit, she reminded me that we could "switch to non-fat or low-fat milk!" I just politely said that I believe that Whole Fat milks are healthier and more natural. Argh!
