  • Hey everyone! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and there wasn't too much damage done over the holidays. I want to reach my goals by the end of 2015.

    I’m wondering would anyone like to join me in a yearly challenge? Now, don't panic at the thoughts of going into this from January 1st to December 31st! For me, it would be near impossible to stay focused for a full year so I have decided to split the year into 8 challenges or 8 mini targets to reach. Each challenge represents a time during the year.

    Challenge 1: New Years Day to Valentine’s Day (January 1st to February 14th)
    Challenge 2: Valentine’s Day until April Fools Day (February 15th to April 1st) Click Here For Challenge Two Results
    Challenge 3: April Fools Day until Mother's Day (April 1st to May 10th) Click Here for Challenge 3 Currently in Progress
    Challenge 4: Mother's Day until Independence Day (May 10th to July 4th)
    Challenge 5: Independence Day to Labor Day (July 4th to September 7th)
    Challenge 6: Labor Day to Columbus Day (September 7th to October 12th)
    Challenge 7: Columbus Day until Thanksgiving Day (October 12th to November 26th)
    Challenge 8: Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve (November 26th to December 31st)

    Weigh in days for challenges will be once a week. I weigh in on Monday, feel free to you edit your post with your weigh in date0.

    I will post a new thread for each new challenge as they approach. This means the thread will not get super duper long by end of the year. Also, anyone can jump in at any point in the year!

    My major goal this year is going for Onederland today (1/3/2015) I weighed in at 245 for the first time in my adult life, and I am 46 lbs. from Onederland, woohoo! lol

    1/1/15 - 245.8
    1/10/15 - 252 (lots of binging and just excess eating period, lowest weight in the past 7 days was 244.4, going to try weight watchers with my fitness pal this week)
    1/17/15 - 243.6 Praise the Lord!!
    1/24/15 - 245.2 (not too disappointed considering the week I've had, PMS binges and I abandoned points counting to make getting back on track easier also for my records tom began 1/21 this month, back to PP and Mfp this week)
    1/31/15 - 242.4 which is 2.8 lbs. down from last week, woot!) So determined to hit this 239, please G_d let it happen! <3
    2/7/15 - 242.6 frustrated because I've been watching my intake and I'm gaining instead if losing, finally hit 60 lbs loss on 2/1 at 241.6 and it's gone up ever since. Still grateful but frustrated.

    I had a VERY hard Nov and Dec.....in terms of not losing!

    I was at 235.0 at Thanksgiving, saw 230.4 on Christmas morning and finished off the year at over 236!
    I'm not sure what's going on with me! Hoping it works itself out!
    I had initially thought that I wanted to set my Valentine's Day goal at 214.9. You know, 214 by 2/14 BUT after the week I've had, I'm thinking there's no chance for that! I still want to get as close as I can and I know some of this weight has got to be "water weight"! So, I'm going to go ahead and set my goal at 219.9. I may not get there but I'm gonna try!

  • Thanks for starting us off again love2b150! Life got really challenging October through December and I purposely went "off the 3FC grid" for a time. I'm back and ready to begin this challenge!
