I'm new to this whole weight loss support community, I'm a 29 year old female from the US (currently reside in MD). I heard community support can be very helpful, so i'm giving it a try. I've been overweight since I was 9 and have struggled with body image issues and low self esteem. I've YoYo dieted for years but always end up putting back any weight I had lost. My heaviest was 275 when I was 14 years old, then i picked up smoking (quit at 22) and got down to about 220 and I've been fluctuating between 220-240 my whole adult life. Recently, a friend of mine at work recommended the whole 30 diet because she had lost 60 pounds doing that. I started eating Paleo (whole 30) in May 2014. I'd say I follow the diet about 80 percent ( i still like a beer and a slice of pizza from time to time). I've lost about 43 pounds and I feel great. I've started jogging and signed up for a 10 mile race this April! I also try to get strength training and yoga in a couple of times a week. As of 2 nights ago the scale finally read 199!!!! under 200, i don't remember the last time I saw that!!! I still have about 35-40 pounds to lose, so I thought it would be a great time to get some tips/support/advise now that i'm at a point I've never been before. I'd appreciate any feedback or advise. Thanks everyone!
