I remember your post, I'm so sorry nobody replied, this time of year can be slow on the boards with people tied up in the upcoming holidays and bogged down in their own struggles!
I hope you haven't left us, trust me, it wasn't personal that your thread was overlooked!
If I remember correctly you had lost a really significant amount of weight (congratulations on all that hard work!), then experienced a bit of regain, and you were feeling down and wondering how to get your mojo back.
My advice is to look back at what you did at the very beginning -- if you kept any journals or blogs or photos, review those. Now do all those things you did right at the start again for a while until you feel back in your groove. Usually our plans and daily diet change and adapt over time as we get past the white-knuckle stages of new-habit-forming and into long-term loss and maintenance. But sometimes it can help to go back to the beginning for a bit of a reboot!
I also always think a couple weeks of strict meal planning helps me get back in the groove if I've strayed way too far from my plan. Maybe that could help you as well. Even a couple of days can do the trick, since so much of this is mental. For me it is all about food-management, so I generally don't care about exercise during a get-back-to-business-reboot -- if I get my meals under control I will start feeling wonderful and WANT to do fun exercise and sports. So during a reboot I might not even have an exercise goal -- it is all about making good meal choices and doing whatever it takes to get that done.
I'd also suggest hopping on one of the busy challenge threads here in the forum to get your daily dose of encouragement and inspiration! The forums are slow now, but they will be hopping at the beginning of the year as people do their New Year's Resolutions.
I hope you stay! Hugs to you!
