Hello today is DAY 1

  • I am a single mom of 3 teenagers and have recently been diagnosed with Psoriatic arthritis (an autoimmune disease) and now i am having spinal injections. My dr has put me on ideal protein but using alternative foods like he did because some of the injections i have to have are prefilled for average ppl....so long story short here i go....any advice would be greatly appreciated..

  • Hello,

I don't have advice because I don't know anything about that type of arthritis.

I would just like to say welcome! Hope you can find the encouragement and support you need here. I did!

I have hypothyroid and have been working on healing it "naturally". What I am learning is that a lot of what I eat has a huge affect on my thyroid and whether or not it can heal. It's amazing, that common sense eating like in the old days is what I need. No low-fat, no fat-free, no margarine, no processed foods or sugar, definitely no fast foods. So I am on this journey learning how to eat healthy and I know it will take time, but I am committed to it. Our so-called "food" has changed drastically and disease is increasing because we have become like robots buying all the "convenient" things that are being called food! I say we need to take our health back!
