What positive new action are YOU starting right now?

  • Today hubby and I went for a 45 minute walk. It was a little faster than I'm comfortable with (my 5'6 legs have to work twice as hard as his 6'2 ones) but I could still talk, so I guess it's not too much exercise for P1.

    My severe knee trauma from 16 months ago seems healed and I now have the confidence to consider some strength training so it's ready for when I'm allowed to do cardio and strenuous exercise again.

    So, what new habits are you developing to help in this weight loss and food plan retraining process?
  • Still working on eating my full maintenance breakfasts... not a morning person and have never been hungry until 11ish AM even if I haven't eaten after dinner the night before. Making it about 90% of the time. The other 10% of the time it's a vegan protein shake made with water, cause I feel icky otherwise.

    At least it's an improvement over my cereal & almond milk breakfasts pre-IP. There's some protein & fat going on there now...

  • I'm tackling P4 Maintanence with the same energy as P1! I have no desire to go back from whence I came.....all high sugar and carbs and NO protein or fiber. I also need to build in an effective exercise program. Having a hard time fitting this is with work and motherhood. But there's a treadmill at the gym with my name on it today!!!!
