So I just started donating plasma and now it got me thinking is that safe to do so while on IP phase 1. I get really get dizzy but I don't know if everyone gets dizzy from donating or does ip have some thing to do with that.. thanks in advance.. FYI I have been on the diet for a while and I don't get dizzy on a regular basis just the day and say after donating
I just gave blood (my coach said it was okay) and I then wished I had not. It left me bed ridden for about 36 hours. I can't imagine what Plasma would have done!! But I don't know if it would have done that to me anyway..... it has been about 20 years since I gave blood and I just don't remember any effects at all, but I was young, so who knows?
When I get home I eat my lunch right away or I take my snack right after.. but has anyone donated Not being on this diet and has got dizzy after.. I'm was goings to ask my coach but I'm kinda embarrassed because I doing it to support ip.. Im getting so close to my goal weight but I'm so broke I have to donate plasma.. and thanks ladies for your replys
I donated plasma for 2 years before starting IP and it always left me weak and exhausted afterwards. Does the same with being on IP my coach told me to just have extra packet on those days and extra water.
Donating makes me feel weak and depleted at any time. When I'm in ketosis or eating super low cal I feel even more that way. Eating extra packets won't help replenish plasma or blood but if eating helps you feel better then it's worth a try.
I donated blood as often as allowed during my 13 months on P1. Never had an issue (haven't before or after eithe). I did it after work and went home and ate dinner.
I said (and still do) said no thanks to the snacks and just drank the water.
It was nice seeing my blood pressure going down and down and non-scale victory when they didn't have ito run around to get the big cuff!
I avoided blood donation for the first several months... then around month 4, I decided to try... I made sure I had my lunch protein pack under my belt first, with salad... when I gave soon after in the afternoon, it was fine. I did have a pack of nuts in the Canteen, and that was enough protein, as well.. Did not feel dizzy. Ate a good dinner and snack that day after donation. No bad effects from the nuts, which were OP but felt it was minor and it worked without gain or consequences.
I donated right after I started on P1 and I passed out which is something that's never happened to me when giving blood before. I also felt really awful for the rest of the day and my WL wasn't great that week so I probably would try to avoid giving blood while on P1.
Just wondering if anyone out there has donated blood when in phase 1 and how it went. I am a regular donor and there is a local annual drive coming up this week I always attend. I usually have no trouble donating blood and do so several times per year but wanted to see if anyone had any feedback or experience to pass along. More for regular donors who may have noticed a difference. TIA
Are you crazy? This diet is crazy enough without running your body into the ground. This diet stresses the body, and now you are punishing your body. Yes, the diet works, but no one would say it's the best diet for the human body.
