Hi everyone,
I'm currently trying South Beach after being on WW for a while. To be honest, I don't feel that I really gave WW a fair shake at working. I was never fully committed and I ate whatever I wanted, how much I wanted and just didnt care. Well, I recently had bloodwork done and while I've ALWAYS had high cholesterol, my bloodwork is now out of control. My cholesterol is almost 300, my triglycerides are almost 500, and my blood sugar is now borderline high. I am also 60 lbs overweight at only 5 ft tall. I'm confused and unsure which plan is best for me. I thought South Beach because it was written by a cardiologist and seems to be made to address all the issues I suffer from, but after being on it for a month I feel like if I have to look at another egg, piece of cheese or chicken again I'm gonna wig out!! Also, I miss my potatoes!! Ugh!! While the inches seem to be starting to come off, it just doesn't feel like a diet I could live with for the rest of my life. I was just curious if anyone here has been through this issue and what their choice was...

But one can certainly try SB but track the points to keep accountable
