Greens+?

  • Has anyone tried this supplement? I have seen it all over the supplement departments and it claims to enhance mental ability, increase energy, and improve the immune system. I have been thinking about trying it for awhile but the price tag is pretty steep for me $50+. Please share your experiences with this product.
  • Save your money. Eat vegetables. Eating a varied diet will maximise all your potential and none of those supplements will be able to match it.

Nutrients from supplements are not as well absorbed as nutrients from food.
  • I've been taking Greens + and I got it online. It's packed with lots of herbs and vegetables in powdered form. You must drink lots of water with it. I take it twice a day. Seems to be a diuretic. At lease I seem to be keeping a lot of reading materials in that room lately. I don't have fluid retention in my legs anymore and my doctor thinks I can stop my meds soon. I am happy about that. My blood pressure was high and now its 123/68. Think I will keep this up!

Found it on Amazon. Can I say that here? Okay, you can get it lots of places. Seems like I use less caffeine than before too. I think I may have more energy too.

I do eat a lot of vegetables but often I find that doing the salad thing or the juicing thing just takes too much time! So I keep the Greens+ in my car and in my purse often.

  • I agree that eating real food is better than taking supplements. Vegetables will do the same thing as that pill, and they will fill you up so you eat less of the other foods.

A lot of people say they don't like vegetables, but if you experiment with the ones you especially dislike and find different ways to prepare them you might be surprised. You acquire a taste for them and eventually the other foods no longer appeal to you. I eat lots of varied vegetables, but I rarely eat salad. There's just so much more out there.

This is just my opinion. If you take the pills and feel that they are doing what you want them to do, you have the right to choose.
  • These supplements scare the crap out of me. You never know what they could be adding to these pills. I read an article recently that so many of these supplement company owners were con men, who have already been jailed on similar schemes, and were adding unnecessary, and sometimes harmful, fillers to these pills. I think it's best to just stick with eating your veggies, at least then you know exactly what you're putting in your body.
  • Ive been on the greens since Feb. My cousin got me started. I love them. The trick is drink them with juice. My cousin has not gotten sick in over 2 years that she has been taking them & I havent gotten sick or got my migraines since starting. They do take a bit of getting used to but like I said mix them with juice & they taste much better.
