On Plan Thread May 12-18

  • It's time for a new week of talking On-Plan! This is the place for South Beach meal plan and food support, encouragement and questions.

    Anyone, from any phase (1, 1.5, 2, 3, etc.) can post, and those who are new to 3FC are especially encouraged to do so!

    This thread is for questions, sharing advice and strategies, and encouraging each other to stay on plan. It is not for chatting about daily life unrelated to this topic. Members have indicated that they would like to have chatting remain in the Daily Thread, so any posts that are off topic or chatty will be moved by the mods to the Daily.

    People in different phases of South Beach post here so it will help everyone if you indicate what phase you're in when you post. Thanks!

    While you may certainly find, from time to time, the need to ask for help after going off plan, remember that this thread is about staying on plan. When you share details of off plan foods you've eaten, it can upset, tempt, and otherwise frustrate other members, so please keep these details to a minimum.

  • This is Phase 1 Day 1 for me! I'm pretty excited. It's only noon but so far no troubles staying on plan. So, yay for 5 hours of success! I'll be staying on track today by sticking to the weekly plan I wrote out in advance. All my snacks and meals are ready to go.

  • Hi everyone!

    I had a pretty good day! Hope everyone else did as well :-) stayed on plan and made it to my first Zumba class...what a killer that was!!! Great workout though (even though I felt like I had NO IDEA what I was doing lol)

    Monday:
    B: salad w/ turkey, ham, avocado, lettuce, cucumber, some LF dressing
    S: nuts
    L: homemade chicken salad w/ LF Mayo, cheese stick
    S: celery sticks w/ hummus
    D: Morningstar patty

    Water - XXXXXXX
    Exercise - 1 hr Zumba class

    Sitting at work right now, going back to try my 2nd Zumba class tonite...

    Tuesday:

    B: 3 egg whites, turkey, hot sauce, decaf coffee w/ skim milk 2 equal
    S: nuts
    L: LF turkey wrapped in romaine leaves w/ lite mayo, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers
    D: "crackslaw" - yum!! :-)
    D: vanilla ricotta creme

    Water - XXXXX
    Exercise - 1 hr Zumba class (yay! 2nd class in a row!)
  • Good Afternoon!

    I took my boyfriend out for dinner for his birthday last night and we went to a Mediterranean restaurant. I was a little nervous, but managed to stay on plan, having a gyros salad and lentil soup. It was really good and satisfying.
  • RoldGold I have never done Zumba myself, I am glad you are enjoying it.
    IslandGirl Dinners at restaurants have always been very difficult for me, congrats with staying on plan!

    Today was a very long day for me, just couldn't wait to get out of work & enjoy the sunshine before the rain came.
