Hi ya. I was 281lbs at the start of my journey.

Focus on the diet and the rest is a breeze! I live in the US now but was originally from Watford.

Wow dude!! That's crazy awesome!! Certianly something to aim for! . for some reason I have a goal of just 180 but i'm pretty stocky and rugby player built. But getting down to 199 for now would be great!! It's the first milestone goal!

I would set smaller targets on the way.

Say every 10lbs or stone (14lbs) or something like that.

The weight drops can be big to start with so use that as your motivation.

Again, focus on the diet. Exercise helps (and I now exercise a lot) but diet made the biggest difference to my weightloss.

I wish there was a way to lie a post haha, because you're right! Now my new first goal.... to the 220's!! (229)

Check out the "Getting out of"... decade threads, they are usually a pretty good time, everyone battling the same set of numbers on the scale together
