Food Journal Sunday July 13th

  • Good morning, darlings!

    So far:

    - coffee w/skim milk
    - 2 coffees w/skim milk
    - omelet with red peppers, onion, mushrooms, tomatoes
  • I'll post Sat and Sun journals here. Yesterday my choices were OP but I just grabbed what I could , since DH ate out when he made 2 trips to Home Depot.

    Saturday:
    B~pistachio ricotta

    L~Sirloin burger patty
    ~Cauliflower/spinach mix

    D~eggbeaters omelet w/roasted veggies

    S~another pistachio ricotta

    Sunday: (so far: I'll update later)
    B~2 turkey bacon strips
    ~~2 eggs (fried using non-stick spray)

    L~1 slice multi grain bread topped with avocadow/flax seeds and lemon juice

    D~sirloin burger patty
    ~Cauliflower/spinach mix
    ~1/2 red bell pepper

    S~ricotta dessert
  • Good morning! I'm new to this site; having found it thru Sunkist's post on prevention.com SBD message board. I love you guys! This is such a positive site; I'm afraid I was becoming bored and irritated by some of the posts SBD -- not very positive at times.

    I also subscribe to SBD website and their message board is not as bad, but not all that easy to use.

    I've been SBD since June 27th and have lost a total of 10 lbs. I need to lose another 25 to reach my goal. Husband says he'll start today, but then he ate a yogurt! Duh!

    Anyway, to follow your thread:

    2 boiled eggs with 3 tomato slices and coffee, so far.
  • Well here's my menu for the day.
    Breakfast-
    2 scrambled eggs
    Unsweetened tea
    Lunch-
    2 chicken hot dogs (again!! I've got to take time to cook!!)
    green salad with FF cheese and mayo
    Dinner-
    Chicken breast
    Huge green salad with boiled egg, onion, tomato, and a little dressing. It had a little shredded carrot in it, but we ate out, and I didn't think to tell them not to put any carrot. I was so proud though, because we were at my favorite restaurant, nad they have som DEEEE-lish food, but I stuck to the plan!!!!
    When I got home I ate some of the ricotta dessert.

    I am on day 2 of phase 1 so here's my menu for today:

    B
    Tomato and Basil omelet (2 eggs, 1 tomato, 1/4 red onion, dash fresh basil chopped, 1/3 cup grated low fat mozzarella cheese)
    coffee with fat free Land O'Lakes 1/2 and 1/2 (must admit - I'm missing my heavy cream from my LC days!)

    S
    Guacomole (1/2 avacado with 1 tsp lime juice and 1 tbsp salsa) with red pepper strips

    (I know that avacado is high in fat but there is a recipe for Ph1 in the book that uses 1/2 avacado so I figured that amount is allowed)

    L
    Grilled fish (like in the book but it wasn't Mahi Mahi)
    Oven roasted veggies

    S
    peanut butter with celery
    (haven't had this yet so probably won't today)

    Green salad with Feta Balsamic Vinigrette (see in recipe thread)
    sugar free fudgesicle
    coffee with fat free Land O'Lakes

  • Oh my gosh y'all I almost cheated!!! I don't know what my prob is tonight! I was looking high and low for the Coke. I told my husband to hide it, and thank goodness he must have taken me seriously. But I ate almost 2 Tbs. of peanut butter. It's my TOM, and I had the shakes. I can't believe I messed up!!! That is my very first cheat in these whole 4 days. I had just eaten that ricotta stuff that shoulda satisfied my sweet craving. I guess maybe I am just messed up because of my period. I CAN NOT blow it!!!!
