Hello everybody, Ive been reading some of the posts and find them to be very exciting. I'm looking for some advise on getting results.
I'm 5'9" and weigh 170. I have been hiking for the last 6 months 8 to 10 miles 3 or 4 times a week, as well as doing pilates 3 times a week. I eat 2 or three times a day tracking calories on average eating about 1000 to 1200 calories. After doing all these things my body will not lose a pound. Currently 170 and I am trying to get down to 150.
Any ideas about why Iam not makeing any progrees? I always weigh 170. Has anyone experience that same problem?

I second what Changergirl said. Sometimes we have to shake up our metabolism to get it to work more efficiently again by doing something unexpected like temporarily eating more calories. Definitely give it a try. Good luck!
