Big tights

  • I have skirts! I have dresses! I have boots!

I have no tights. Anybody have any suggestions for affordable sites for plus size leggings? I don't want to drop a lot of money on them since I'm only looking at needing them for a couple of months.
  • I highly recommend We Love Colors. I have their yellow/black and green/black striped tights. They're not those sweater tights that get popular this time of year, though, just normal tights.
  • www.roamans.com has a good selection of plus size tights, in many colours.
  • Hey, this just popped up in my Facebook feed and I thought of you! http://www.plus-model-mag.com/2013/1...winter-season/
  • That's awesome, thanks!! I'll check them all out.
  • Target sells Assets brand tights -- it's a division of spanks. I have their tights in Black and Brown -- they last forever and are a really thick smooth fabric. I recommend them!
  • ReDress NYC, they have something called Teggings, I've heard great things about them

  • I am going to play "devils advocate", no offense intended, but ask you why do you need tights?

I'm old, back in the 80's, tights were a big fashion deal.

Tight leggings and big chunky sweaters were the norm.

To be honest, did not look good on anyone.

In confession, I do own 3 pair of running pants, much similar to tights. I wear them to run in, under wind pants, when it's cold and they double as long underwear when it is really cold.

Just in my thoughts, they are a needed article of clothing, not a fashion statement.

They are getting popular again. Go out in public, watch, do you really need them? They don't look that great!
  • I'm guessing the tights are to keep warm while wearing skirts/dresses since she mentions skirts/dresses. I don't wear skirts/dresses during winter for the most part but sometimes I wish I had tights under my pants.
  • I think tights can look great if worn correctly!

Staying on topic though I found some black tights at walmart from Just My Size.
