Morning coffee is ona nd I ma ready for work. I was hoping to hear from DD2 as she is in germany as of yesterday morning. (she did e-mail me and said it was wonderful!!!)

Sorry no half and half for coffee SH left my cream out!! All day yesterday!!! so it is going to waste, half a container. Hope he does not see my heavy cream!

Not much else here except I get a holiday tomorrow but that means i have to hustle today to try to get cought up. (still learning the peperwork) but making progress. so have to buckle doen and get things done today.

I drove out to The Farm for eggs this morning and saw the sun come up looking like a huge orange grapefruit! Today will be another hottie, I guess. The AC seems to be working so I am able to get a good night of sleep which sure improves my disposition.

Today Harry and I go to the doc for his usual three month check-up and report on his bloodwork. Team appointments are just great because you can't lie when your spouse is sitting right there! I also get my allergy shot #2 which is the one that gives me a sore arm. Oh well, it's worth it and ice and tylenol certainly help. Before I got onto this 4 shot programme, I was completely useless from Aug. 1 until frost with hay fever! It sure screwed up the summer.

Hershey and I have already walked down to the Lake for our ½ hour constitutional. She is finding the heat really hard but I need to walk her to get the weight off. She can't be bred for her last litter when she is carrying an extra 15 pounds - too hard on the heart and poor stamina for birthing and puppy care. So we will keep on working on it. Poor baby! We all sympathize, I'm sure.

OK - time to water my front porch plants and maybe sneak another coffee.

Good morning everyone--very hot today and I am finishing up the carpet clenaing process. Miree's room got done yesterday now I have to put her all back together again. Just for the record--I hate Barbie shoes!! I must have stepped on at least 5 of them yesterday while trying to steam clean the carpet! OWWWW!!

I know I have been MIA, sorry bout that but real life circumstances get in the way. Congrats and hugs to those who get them, shoulder to cry on to those who need it, take good care of yourself to my sickies and love you all lots!

We are off in a few hours (won't be easy with 3 teens) to Reno for the long weekend for (what else?) a baseball tournament. Should be good and hot there - oh well, the 4th is supposed to be hot, huh?

HI darlings!!! Itoo have been MIA, trying to catch up from vacation!!! And now a long weekend....went to the gym 2x this week and got up early and walked on the treadmill this am. I am preparing to run in a 5k race in November ( I know its only 3.1 miles but ....eek.

This morning I helped out a friend at the baby clinic. We volunteers just weigh the babies and measure them before the poor little tykes go into the public health nurse for their immunization shots. We sure had some cuties there today. Then, I did something I've been meaning to do ever since we moved here (in 1995) and that was join the local library. I can't believe how much I've been spending on books over the years and I could have borrowed them for nothing. Duh! Just have to remember to return them now.
This was followed by a trip to the bank and then I got the urge to buy some new clothes so off I went to Pennington's Wearhouse where they were having a summer sale. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate my shape? I can wear a 2X on the top but the bottom needs a 3 or 4X (depending on if the fabric is stretchy). If it's a plain woven fabric, the shoulders might fit but the bottom part of the tops won't go over my tummy or I can't do up the bottom buttons. It's very frustrating. I hate short tops because I like to delude myself that long tops hide everything. Anyhow, I ended up with a pair of turquoise shorts with a coordinating turquoise print top, a pair of beige capris and a black shell. Also a navy t-shirt with embroidery. All I really wanted was a pair of white capris but they were all too tight. WAAAAHHHH!!
