For many years I have made everyone else my priority. My husband, my son, my coworkers etc. I was raised to help others first and then when time permits take care of myself. Well there hasn't been a lot of remaining time so although my health has been good, my weight just keeps increasing over the years. I was also raised in the midwest when meat and potatoes was the bases of meals. We didn't have to worry about all the chemicals and additives back then . We ate home cooked meals and ate as a family. With our life styles being so fast paced these days, those are all things of the past. Today we run from one thing to another and grab whatever we can to sustain us. Fast food has been my main stay for many years. Well I decided it's time to stop the running and go back to a healtheir life style and make myself a prioirity. I can't quit cold turkey so my husband, son and coworkers will still get attention, just a little less and perhaps knocked down in priority.
