Hello I'm new :)

  • Hi my name is Amber and I join this forum because I wanted some support in starting my weight loss process again ..yes I said again about 8 months ago I was happy where I was( weight wise ) then my fiancé came back from deployment and he went crazy and wanted to eat everything he couldnt when he was gone and of course i ate with him and then we went through a move to a different state which is stressful and I continued to eat bad . So between him coming back and moving and having no friends or family were I moved its hard to get motivated to get back where I was . but I'm starting to become unhappy so I'm ready to change . Working out is not a issue for me it's the food . So if anyone and give me a run down of what I should eat in a day from breakfast to dinner and what times that would be great .thank you
  • Hi Amber! You'll find lots of support and great advice here! About what to eat, it varies for people. Some people are counting calories and using apps like fitnesspal to help them do that. Some people count points through Weight Watchers. Some do Atkins or other low carb diets, and there are many other plan options. So what one person may be able to eat on their plan, another may not be able to eat on their own plan. Everyone kind of has to research the plans and/or experiment to see what works best for them. Why don't you check out the Diet Central section for some ideas on the different plan options as well as the Whole Foods forum under the Food section. Good luck in your journey! You can do this!

    Just like Jacqui_D says, everyone is different here on their approaches to lose weight and sometimes it might take a couple of different diet to figure out the one that will work best for you-- but you'll get there, and we are here to cheer you on and listen when you need an ear!!
