Has anyone done this? It is similar to the Ideal Protein. I've been looking into it and signed up for it, got a coach and have been looking over the products. Just wanted some insight from actual people.

There was a thread on this awhile back.

It used to be IdealToGo but IP did away with that. They changed their name but the products they're selling are Proti-Diet, Proti-Thin, etc that can be found on Nashua Nutrition for half the price.

I think I found the name from an old thread on here from Google. But thanks for that site! It is way cheaper than what they're selling it for.

So can these products be used in place of the IP products, especially for Phase 1?

Alternative products are used by LOTS of P1 IPers on these threads!! They are half the price on sites like Nashua Nutrition and others. There are specific nutritional data requirements a product must meet to be P1 compatable. As long as an alternative meets them it is acceptable.

Several alternative threads give great idea as on products to try.

(The original poster is using products/coaches from a program that broke away from IP, but it seems like the products they give you at IP like prices are the same alternatives most of us buy on line at half the price!!)

Hey there...My husband and I are on ITGDiet Plan and love it. I know we can buy some of the foods on discount sites but its worth it for us as we love the FREE weekly personalized coaching that comes with it..We find all the foods we want in one place, order during FREE shipping and go from there....plus spending the $$ makes us really feel the need to be compliant......Cheating really would be cheating ourselves.
