Adventures with EDNOS, healing, and depression.

  • Hiya,

My name is Jessica. I'm a 20 year old newlywed. I'm about 270 (last I checked. No scale yet) and really committed now to losing weight. Ingot down to about 220 a few summers ago but through really unhealthy means. I had all of the markings of anorexia, but appearance wise You would never know.

I kicked my soda habit two months ago and am loving how my body feels hydrated with water and unsweetened teas.

I am currently not employed. I lost my job three weeks ago due to my anxiety disorder interfering with work. I fell into a deep depression and am trying to kick myself out of it. Only time and hard work will tell.

I'd love to make new friends. Loneliness is never good for depression and friends with the same goals help a lot!
  • Welcome! Thank goodness you got off the soda, that stuff is straight up poison. What sort of diet are you thinking of trying now?
  • Welcome! Bravo on kicking the soda habit! I haven't attempted it yet but I know it is so good for us not to have that stuff in our bodies.

This really hit home for me. I quit a job 2 months ago because it was triggering my anxiety disorder. I so understand.
