Skin

  • Does anyone have any advice about post weight loss skin tone. Anything nonsurgical. Will skin appearance improve after awhile. Help! I'm feeling slightly discouraged after losing 5 stone I don't look much better.

  • Think we need to do something toning. My tummy is still as flabby as it was 2 stone ago, but now the flab just hangs there - sorry not a very attractive image. I still have some way to go, but I know when I was doing my aerobics videos the skin look way better.

Well done on losing 5 stone, how did you do it ?

  • Bang goes my theory on the toning exercises sounds like you are already doing them
  • Hmmm I have been hearing alot of good things about the GI diet...I am going to have to pick up that book...Has anyone tried those toning machines?
  • My sister knows a woman that used toning tables and lost a "ton" of weight i do it the hard way myself
  • MelissaA,
I used toning tables and the effect was quite noticeable. I lost no weight (it isn't aerobic exercise so don't see how you lose weight?) but my bum changed (moved up) after only a couple of sessions and clothes were looser and sat better on me. It was like losing a dress size but its very temporary and as soon as I stopped going everything hit the ground again
