Why can't I keep this fat?

  • Why are my boobs always the first thing to go? Does anyone else find this to be true, or is it just the way my body works? They are the one part of my body where I'd like to keep the weight!
  • Its the same for everyone, the place we want to lose the most is the last place we lose, and the place we want to keep our curves we lose them. It's standard.

To be honest, I wish I had smaller boobs, I would do anything for smaller boobs. I have teeny tiny shoulders and no shirt looks right. It tugs at the chest and billows on the shoulders. I've decided that if I take the weight off and keep it off for at least 3yrs I will reward myself with breast reductions surgery so that I can wear cute outfits!
  • I don't have this problem but I didn't have a large chest to begin with. At my heaviest, I was struggling to stay in a 38 band because I'm a 38B. Going up would have made me a 40A, a size that's near impossible to find. I'm still in a 38B but don't have to find the super stretchy bands to make it fit anymore. I'm also thrilled because, while I needed plus size clothes for my waist and stomach, they mostly had what I called "boob holes". Space for your boobs that were always like sacks on me.
  • Boobs are overrated.
  • I lose my love handles first. My waist is getting smaller and smaller, but my front stomach fat, thighs, and butt refuse to shrink.
  • I'm an apple shape. I gained in the tummy first, and I can totally tell it's going to be the last to go - annoying!! I'm very very very annoyed about it, lol. I seem to be thinning out a bit all over with losing it in my legs/thighs first, exacerbating my apple shape issue. Apple4Life

HAHAHA I have the exact OPPOSITE problem, I have linebacker shoulders but at 300+ was still a smallish C-cup. I have to go 1 size up in shirts for my clothing then either have a super loose chest or have to get it tailored. I will trade you some of your boobage for some of my shoulders!!
  • Jacqui and pnkrckpixicat:

    I love your avatatar photos!

Pnkrckpixicat: you can have some of my boobage. I can't wait to lose some of my boobs; mine are so big they practically have their own zip code!

Maybe when we are all down to our goal weights we will be happier with how everything is distributed.
  • I'm more than willing to donate some extra to you lovely ladies lol. Alas, that whole thing about losing it in the places you want to keep it is totally true. Laaaaaaaaaaaame-o.
  • Lol! I'm afraid mine are going to end up looking like something out of National Geographic in those parts of the world where the women have never worn bras, long and droopy. Not exactly the look I'm going for!

Thanks doingmybest, I like your avatar too! I am definitely a cat person.
  • Thanks doingmybest thats my baby boy Aphro when he was still pretty little.
  • Lol regarding National Geographic! I just hope their photographers don't show up at my house!

Aphro and the other kitties are so cute!
  • I'll take some boobage from you guys giving it away

Meanwhile, anyone want my arm fat?
  • I don't need any arm fat, AmyAmy. I can fly on my own if I just flap my arms and start running! Could you use any of my thigh fat?
  • My butt is the first thing to go, and since I'm from South America, we take great pride in our butt. It becomes flat and then after some excersice it gets back to normal...
