Hi everyone. I am new to this and new so I am looking forward to chatting to others currently trying to lose weight also. I was always a skinny child and teenager and the weight started piling on after my divorce in my late 20s. It's not really hit me until recently how big ive gotten and looking at myself in the mirror actually disgusted me. So I have started a transformation journey this week and already lost 1.5kilos in 3 days! I know its going to be a struggle as I dont have much support from friends to hit th gym with so any advice is welcomed! Thanks
I've found this group to be really supprotive. I've made my "home" in a few different forums--the 100 lb club (Cool Kids and Getting out of <current decade>), as well as the Beck Forum.
I read other things of course, including calorie counting, but those I try to keep up with daily. Doing that, of course, one makes friends!
There are also age-based groups, if that appeals to you.
