After 90 days on Plan, I Cheated...

  • After 90 days of being 100% on plan (except the indulgent vodka tonic here and there), I blew it last night. I was house sitting for a friend and as I was cooking my lean & green meal stumbled across some leftover Baskin Robbins cake - mint chocolate chip! I lost all control and had eaten a slice before I even knew what hit me.

    I ended up skipping my green portion of the lean & green meal as well as my final two medifast meals of the day to compensate for the carbs.

    I was shocked to be up only 1 pound today. Maybe it will hit tomorrow...
  • This should read: woohoo! I made it 90 days on plan before I cheated. My God, woman, your will power is awesome. Relapse is healthy amd normal. You got this.
  • Agree with post above.....I allow myself a glass of wine (4 oz) every Friday night to celebrate making it another week!!! Or I would go NUTS.
  • Thanks guys. Scale showed a loss again today after being back on plan 100%! I guess I'm so paranoid about going out of ketosis and the big jump in weight that comes withit. It's good to know a small slip-up isn't going to completely derail my efforts!
  • If you knock yourself out of ketosis, you'll know it. It'll be like the first 3 days all over again. It used to make the cheating easier to resist for me, because I knew a cheat on the weekend would mean a hungry Monday, and a really cranky Tuesday at work.
