Hi All,
I am back (again)- still hanging in there, and still (again) in the 180's. I had some minor issues happen for a little bit, primarily involving a pretty wicked lack of motivation.
Regardless- I am back, and ready to rock.
Anybody care to join me in getting out of these dreaded decades? Even if you're kind of close!
I started out on weight watchers, but I prefer the freedom of calorie counting. I have recently seen a nutritionist, and have a great idea of how to eat. I am looking to keep a healthy balance of exercise, food/nutrition/indulgences.

I was in the 170s, down from 200 but I've regained and am in the upper 180s
I'm having hernia surgery in 2 days and though no one likes surgery, I had been discouraged by the bulge in my tummy. I'm going to let this be the kickoff of doing much better with exercise and diet. I'm at an age (51) when I really want to lose the menopause weight and the weight that just crept on over the years
You go girl! Today I went to the Y because I earned fitness points for a free cholesterol/lipids check. So I weighed myself and was 185, which is down 2-3 pounds from when I was at the doctor's last week. My surgery's tomorrow so there'll probably be some fluctuations due to that - but it's also the beginning of turning over that new leaf!

Taking it easy and resting. Doctor wrote "lose weight" on the instructions . . .
