What about lemons? Fruit or free condiment?

  • I love having some lemon juice in hot water in the morning. Usually squeeze a lemon or two and have it with some stevia in hot h2o.

Can I do this and be within IP protocol?

If you look at you Phase 1 protocol sheet, lemon juice is listed as an approved "condiment". But I wouldn't recommend squeezing two whole lemons for a breakfast beverage, that's a bit beyond using as a condiment/seasoning. The juice from 1 lemon has 4 carbs in it, almost as much as some of the IP shake packets.
  • Thanks! info is appreciated.

An IP coaching video I just received discussed lemons. The fact it is low in carbs and it has other health benefits makes it allowable. They recommend not exceeding one lemon per day.
  • Have you tried the true lemon products?? Amazing!!!!
  • I found the ip video on lemons!
