It is NOT raining!

I'm leaping into my day after a dreary and drizzly downer of a Thursday. I'll get my tomato plants for sure and hope to get them planted when it dries up a bit. The clay soil builds up on my garden shoes until I am three inches taller! Shall I change my BMI?

already started to clean the kitchen wrote a long email to a friend and started laundry all this and I still have 13 hours to work and then go shoppng for tomorrow as I work in the morning and have a BS cookout thing in the afternoon. (all which I have to plan and buy the food. UGH!!!

Off to the gym, little man is sleeping over at KFS house tonight and out orlder ones have the Greco- Roman festaval tonight.....cosumes and all!

Good early morning my chicky friends!

Been up since 3:30! DD in England was to get married today and I wanted to call her! There's a six hour time difference, well, I finally got thru feeling the very emotional mother not there thing only to find out they've post poned it to end of July! Gee thanks Melissa - I could be sleeping now!

Ruth - Sure hope that rain stays gone for awhile! I would love to "see" you beautiful flower gardens!

Sue - Hugs to you! What is with these SH's and kids anyway? Us Super Moms and them Super Slobs? Hang in there, they do grow up eventually,,,,,,,,,,,don"t they?

Life is crazy and stressful but prayer and laughter keeps me going. Had a wonderful girls getaway last week. My friend Susie turned 40 and seven of us girls rented a beach house to celebrate! It was probably the oldest slumber party ever seen! And much needed time away for all of us!

Weight is still coming off, tho more slowly. And more OP days than non-OP, so guess that's good. Trying to get myself mentally psyched for the "E" word. shudder-shudder!

Good Morning Ladies

Its suppose to get into the high 70's here today!! Could be a great day at the store!! Its been quiet this week, well except for the happenings next door (restaurant) the owner is conducting an illicit (sp?) affair, after he closes, and we can hear EVERYTHING when he does his deed!!! Our walls are so thin between stores, especially since we share a door to the basement. He has lost 3 customers....there is NO way Id eat anything out of that place now. Not because of what he is doing, but because he papered up his windows yesterday so you couldnt see in. Now, there are plenty of places he could be doing the wild thing, but if he is covering windows, then he is out on tables and god knows where. So......nuf said

Thankyou ladies for your kind words. I talked to hubby last night about it, and yes I got a lecture, and yes I deserved it, and yes I did alot of crying. I cant deal with the emotional stress like I used to, and thank goodness my hubby is a wonderful man, who knows exactly what to say. Im feeling much better today, and hopefully I'll make it thru the next 3 weeks without too much incident.

It is a beautiful day (FINALLY) which is doubly good as the kids will be having an Olympiad at school tonight as part of the Greek/Roman festival. Any bids for pictures of L & her DH in full Roman regalia

Of course, then she'd post pics of my & DH in OUR costumes so I guess we have a stalemate

I am losing 1-2 lb per week and really feel like I am getting into a groove - it is so exciting and liberating. I don't need to obsess about food, just follow some simple rules. I don't always post but I love reading all the posts here - keep up the good support ladies!!

Well had to take ODD to the Dr.--full blown strep throat-poor thing! Don't think me and SH didn't have another fight about the checkbook-can you believe he forgot to leave it agian?? Yes the sparks were flying.

Still OP and loving it! Glad everybody is feeling good--and I hope between all of us we lose 50 pounds this month-HEY-that could be a challenge-as a group let's all see if we can lose 50 pounds in a month

It's beautiful here in east Tennessee today but the rain is coming. I'm doing like the rest of you. I'm getting out and enjoying the sunshine while I can. We've just not had much summer weather yet. It's been cool and wet for so long.
Hugs to the little one with strep. That stuff is nasty.

How many of us are there? If there are 25 of us, that would mean we'd each just have to lose 2 lb this month. That doesn't sound too onerous.
I went for my water workout this morning and found the pool all divided up for a swim meet later today so my friend and I did our splashing about in the shallow end. Still managed to get the old heartrate up a notch.
Now, I'm just getting ready to go out and run some errands. It's starting to get hot (by Wet Coast standards anyhow). It should get up into the 70s today which is too darned hot for me. No gardening when it's like this. Still, I'm not going to complain about this rare spell of warm, sunny weather.
Other than my weak moment with the ice cream cone yesterday, I've managed to stay OP for almost two full weeks. I will be weighing in on Sunday but I'm afraid to get my hopes up too high for a loss. I've been disappointed too many times in the past. The main thing is that my clothes feel a bit looser and on Monday I can start to add a few carbs back in. Wahooooo!!

Afternoon Ladies-
It is a G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S day outside-unbeliveable! 75 degrees and so sunny! Of couse I have had limited exposure to this glorious day since ODD is home--with the strep. She is gonna miss the ball game tonight-and had planned to have a little girl spend the night-but it will have to be another night. Also it was"Jump-Up" day at her school where she would have got to go meet her teacher for next year and see who was all in her class-she is pretty dissappointed

Linda-Is there really 25 of us? Yes, probably-maybe we should say 100 pounds! 4 pounds each for the month

Mrs. Big Dawg-Thanks for the hugs to Alyssa-I will be sure to pass them on-she is sooo pathetic looking right now

Well, my house is a little to warm-wonder if SH would care if I flipped the air on??

Water intake has been little today--need to step it up a bit-and no walk today either-unles SH gets home in time for me to go to the track--I am not gonna hold my breath!
