I too am in my fifties, well 59 later this year (gulp!) and this is the first time in my life I am losing weight steadily. My metabolism is extremely slow, most likely because I have battled with obesity since childhood. My first visit to a specialist when I was about 6 and then on my first diet when I was 10. Anyway, this is working and I feel so hopeful and thankful at where I am today. Perahps I will resort to a 'paper edition' after all lol!
I love my computer and would much prefer to type something than write it, but maybe in this case your suggestion is better
Decided to change my goal to 160lbs instead, bringing me closer to target.
