Made it to ONEderland!

  • Well, I was afraid I might never get here again, but here I am below 200 pounds! I'm sixty two pounds lighter than when I began on January 7! While I am super proud of myself, I'm not posting this feat for the accolades from you guys. I want everyone to know that this program really works. I haven't been perfect at this diet, but I've been darn good, and darn good is a WHOLE lot better than where I was before I started this wonderful program! Anyway, I hope everyone out there is having success and feeling great! I definitely have my struggles, doubts, etc. but this small victory has reinvigorated me to finish this race...this marathon! Here's to small plates and big losses!

    Welcome to the boards! I am with you about getting tired of the same ol' protein! I've posted some of my favorite recipes from the cookbook below that are not giant pieces of meat on a plate.

    I'm a big fan of the vegetable pizza on pg. 98 of the cookbook. It uses spaghetti squash or zucchini for the "crust" and is really, really tasty!

    I also like the Heuvos Rancheros on pg. 111 with fire salsa. It really gives the tastebuds a kick!

    The bruschetta on pg. 237 is excellent!

    I really like the white bean chicken chili on pg. 255 as well.
