Started Weight watchers

  • Hey everyone,

    So into my 2nd week of WW. My weigh in happens every monday evening. And in my 1st weigh in i LOST 6LBS!!!! Soo happy with that and now feel i can't wait til next monday to see if i can continue my good success!

    I must also admit i enjoy the ammount of food i can have for my daily allowance. I feel full never really snack much either. I was a nightmare for just going into the fridge and eating cheese or having a packet of crisps. But i seem to have the willpower to say no! Soo proud

    Hows everyone else finding their journey?

  • Hi Di, welcome! I'm new too, just going through my 3rd week now.

    I had great success my first week, and it would've continued throughout the 2nd and 3rd week except that I knowingly didn't eat great. (A cousin was visiting and insisted on making dinner every night as a thank you for letting her stay at our house, and I wouldn't tell her I was on WW). We had sloppy joes and tacos, followed by Cinco de Mayo margaritas, lol... oy.

    Overall though I can see the plan is definitely working and I'm so excited. I'm happy to hear about your success too. I hope we all continue to have success on WW and can share our progress with each other.

    I hate to be a downer, but I would rather tell you now than have you be disappointed Monday night after WI. I know with me and some people here, the first week was a big loss, but the following week wasn't. The normal loss is between 1-2 lbs and usually after a big loss, you see a smaller one the next week. Don't let it discourage you!

  • Congrats and welcome Di. The others are right that if you are new to dieting you will lose big your first week, mostly due to excess water loss. And that is great because you are about to get into the real loss of losing fat and that is what will make you look and feel awesome.

  • Yeh i know, ive changed alot of my eating habbits and most of all portion size, although i was surprised re my great 1st week. I'm not expecting this to continue. My body has just had a shock lol! My aim is to lose 2lbs a week so im hoping that will be the case this monday.

  • Congrats on your first week's loss! True, a lot of the first week or two's losses are water, but it does put you that much closer to your goal!
