This weeks weight watcher meeting was all about finding an anchor that helps keep you motivated. We talked about this at length in my meeting and I think it's a great idea and decided to join in.
My anchor is a charm bracelet that my mother gave me a few years ago. It's been sitting in my jewlery box collecting dust and, after last nights meeting, I thought "aha!" For every 10 pounds I lose I'm going to treat myself to a new charm and add it to my bracelet. This way I have something with me all the time to help me stay On Plan, even when at a party or restaurant (my biggest challenge areas). On my dominant wrist, I'll have to hear/see it every time I go to grab something I probobly shouldn't. I'm going to see if there is a way to add the keychain charms ww gives to the bracelet, but I'm not sure if that'll work.
