Here's a fun idea that I just got from reading Halfagain's post on the 100% thread. She wrote "Now that I'm thinner my feet look bigger."

Others have written: "Now that I'm thinner people ask me if I got a haircut."

I would write:
"Now that I'm thinner the seat of my car is much harder."

Can you complete the sentence?

and I agree with the car seat being harder

I still remember Scorbett's butt bones on the toilet seat comment and I now experience it!


I fit better everywhere (chairs, car, seatbelt)
I can keep up with DH on a walk & not out-of-breath
I spend more time outside
I can walk upstairs without a railing (too clumsy for down!)
I'm ready to take a yoga class with other people
I need to re-learn how to shop for clothing (rather than just getting what fits)
It takes longer to get dressed because I care what things look like

Here's a new one from this week:
Now that I'm thinner, I am not afraid to go to the supermarket in my form-fitting yoga pants! This one got tested because I finished up at the gym and remembered that we were completely out of milk and bananas (my kids would rise up and revolt!) and I didn't have time to go home and change first.

Now that I am thinner...

My tailbone hurts when I sit and wait for my girls at the pool.
I have to adjust the rearview mirror after my Husband drives the car. I am much shorter in the car
I can move much faster on the tennis court.

Now that I'm thinner strangers look me in the eyes and smile at me as they walk past. I'm no longer invisible.

Now that I am thinner my 6 year old and I can sit in our recliner together!! Hes the one that said look mom we fit!! What a great feeling to be able to keep up with him as well!

Now that I am thinner, my butt is not square anymore, its getting round. And people look at my face now.

Now that I am thinner I can see my clavicles!! Now that I am thinner there is a LOT of extra strap left on the seat in a plane.

I found a huge lump between my breasts! I had my doctor check it out at my recent visit, and she said it's the point where my ribs meet and it's only normal cartilage that can develop as one grows older. Who knew?!?

Now that I am thinner....

I am cold all of the time.... (always have heater on at work)
I am worried the little bulge in the belt makes it look like its my gut.
