Recipes for Mayo

  • I am looking for an IP friendly mayo recipe that will taste similar to regular mayo. Does anyone have one to share? I have not tried the Walden Farms but other than the pancake syrup, I have not cared for any of the Walden Farms products. I am not sure if I want to waste the $ on another Walden Farms product that I will end up not liking. Would like to use the Mayo for egg salad, tuna salad or a creamy coleslaw. Thanks in advance.
  • The first volume of Mix'n in the Kitch'n has a homemade IP friendly mayo recipe:

  • Mmmm, yeah I'm so going to have this with Rainbow's foccacia.... some sort of sinful tasting sammich!

    OOPS, I meant flatbread.
  • Thanks Scorbett! That's exactly what I was looking for!
  • Hi, I use silken tofu as a base then add some acid, salt and pepper, its really good. I prefer to season it so its more of a pesto, garlic mayo, but its great and extremely versatile. I posted it on the recipes thread.
  • I don't even really like regular mayo (so I would not bother making one), but I did buy the WF chipotle mayo with an order from netrition, and it is actually tasty! I used it with grilled steak on a bed of romaine. It does have a slight sweet taste, but I think the spicy is a good compliment.

I know you said you don't care for their products, but wanted to add my 2 cents for that flavor.
