Okay.. my blood test results

  • Okay so first results are from September 2012 weighing at 269, second number is from March this year (about 60+ lb down), remember I started the diet in November and by that time weighed almost 10 lb more than I did when I first had my blood work done in September. But here is the change in my numbers from Sept to March, 6 months and 4 months on the plan.

    Weight 269 vs about 205
    Blood Pressure - 130/80 vs 112/76
    HDL - 27 vs 24
    LD - 102 vs 124
    Total - 189 vs 180
    VLDL Cholesterol - 66 vs 32

Glucose - 134 vs Hmmm, can't find that they tested that this last time I will have to call them and find out<

    Triglycerides - 300 vs 160 (yeah I know, crazy!)

I stil I need to get my thyroid retested as it was elevated when I had it done in March, before it was always normal. I just keep forgetting to stop in been so busy with work and the kids's school stuff!

    Anyway... thought I would share!

Wow, what a great improvement. Congratulations!
  • For anyone who thinks IP isn't healthy, they certainly can't argue with those facts!

This is a good read for all those people who have never been overweight and don't get that this is a medical issue...
Congrats! I'm hoping that my fatty liver and pancreas show improvement once I lose more weight too!
  • Great results!
  • Congrats!!! I'm not doing IP, but even so, I too had vast improvement in blood work with a 20-lb weight loss.
Feels good to know things are improving on the inside too, isn't it?!
  • That's fantastic!
