I have ANOTHER activity points question....... Does anyone know if the is a formula to convert calories burned? I have a gArmin watch I paid a pretty penny for so I'm NOT buying the WW one but mine tells me calories burned so is the a calculation or something???
Thanks
Michelle
I have heard(and could be 100% wrong) it's 1pt for every 100 calories.
The problem is that WW assumes you are already reaching a baseline of activity every day, so before you earn any APs you must have already burned X amount of calories.
I've been wearing my HRM and my WW pedometer simultaneously during my workouts for about two weeks now. From what I have observed, the previous commenter is right: it comes out to be about 100 calories per point. So, 100 calories = 1 point, 3 calories = 3 points, and so on.
It might be different for other people, of course. But that's how it is for me.
