    Yesterday plugged my figures into fitday, I THOUGHT I did so well! I blew it w/GRAPES!! I had one cup and went totally over the carb limit. I just really needed something sweet!
    Anway, I am still new to this, I use to be a low fat dieter, which was not getting me anywhere.

    I hope you have a great holiday, suppose to be nice here (but that depends on what station you watch!)

  • Colann do not sweat the small things you lear one day at a time. one great low carb snack is the faus rice pudding. cottage cheese, sweetener, dab of vanilla and shake of cinamon, and drizzel of cream. just watch the carbs in the cottage cheese.

    Sugar free jello also but try to take it away from all sweets for a while as then things will taste too sweet when you eat them (as if that can happen) But it does!!!

    Sue had great suggestions on the "sweet" subs. I did find a fudgcicle by Blue Bunny and sweetend with splenda (Wal Mart sells it) that only has 35 calories per cicle and I think it's 8.5 carbs. A bit higher in the carbs than I would like but a whole heck of alot better than most of the alternates we could chose!

    Hang in there - it really gets easier!
