Hard eating calories when healthy!!!!!!!

  • I would like to know how you all get lots of calories eating healthy.

    I usually eat oatmeal all bran buds flax fruit and milk or egg whites beans and veggies in a wrap for breakfast usually 400 calories

    I usually have a salad and either chicken or sardines for lunch 300 calories

    Supper is a protein and grain and veggies. 450 calories


    Snack is greek yogurt 100 calories
    and almonds 175 calories

    This total is a bit over 1400 calories a day. I need to get 4-500 more at least.

    I would like some suggestions but have to be low sodium as I have high blood pressure.

  • use the full egg, not just the white. Have two eggs in place of one. Add a slice of cheese. For snack, add more yogurt or more almonds.

    At lunch, more chicken or more sardines.

    Eat a tablespoon of peanut butter, drink a protein shake. I can think of a thousand things to add healthy calories.

  • add in string cheese and a fruit, nuts( unsalted) I also eat the whole egg. I tend to eat 2 most mornings. I also double the amount of veggies. They fill you up and will stay with you. I also drink alot of fruit smoothies made with yogurt and fruit.
