New member ^_^ Hi!!!

  • Hi
I'm Violet! I just joined this because this site has soo many recommendations online! And I am hoping you lovely people might be able to help me

Ok so I lost a lot of weight about a year ago, I went from a size 26(uk) to a size 16(uk)
Unfortunately I have gone up a size 18(uk)

I would very much like to get to my original goal of a size 14(uk)

    Any hints, tips or tricks??

thank you for taking the time to read!
  • First let me say welcome. There is a wealth of information and advice here to help you. I would advise you to drink eight 8 ounce glasses of water a day. I lose weight faster when I drink my water. Second I would say find some kind of exercise that you enjoy and start small and work yourself up to what you feel is a good exercise program.

How did you lose the weight last year? If it was a good healthy plan and it worked then, it will work now (I tell myself this every day ). If it wasn't healthy, well, there's plenty of tips & advice here to help you 'upgrade' to something better! Do you exercise? Firegirl is right about finding exercise you enjoy if you don't already. And come back here often - it really, really helps!
  • Well I originally lost all that weight because I had a totally different lifestyle! A massively demanding job and a less than good partner, very stressful, I guess its the motivation I'm finding most difficult
And No I don't really have much exercise! I always mean to and plan to, never actually get around to it though
