6 week plan to focus and in need of support

  • Hey all - I've been gaining and losing the same 5 lbs since October. I need to re-focus on my efforts on nutrition and perseverance. I am committing to 6 weeks of veggie-focused eating. I am also committing to blogging and posting on the forums every day for 6 weeks, to ensure I am focusing. My goal is to lose 15 lbs in those 6 weeks: I am 194.9 right now, so that puts me at 179.9. I'm over the whole "I'll start Monday" mentality - Tuesday is just as good a day as any to track my 6 weeks. Thoughts? I would love some encouragement from anyone at any stage. Let's get this done!

  • Good luck! Just make sure you have a plan for what to do after the 6 weeks--whether it's maintenance, changing your plan, or whatever. You don't have to think of it now, but think of it before the 6 weeks are over.
  • We're similar weight, height and a goal-wise AND I'm having the exact same problem of going from 187 up to 193, 189, 191, 188 and repeat cycle.

    I am one week into a ten-week REFRESH plan, where I up my exercise and plan my meals in advance. I'm not being overly strict with myself when it comes to counting calories, but I have set myself some rules that I must stick to for the next ten weeks - mainly exercising five times a week, no question.

    I am aiming to lose 18 pounds in the next 9 weeks to PUSH myself into the 160s (somewhere I haven't been for over a decade!).
