BMR and TDEE

  • My BMR is roughly: 1855 calories.

    My TDEE is roughly: 2550 calories

    Checked this on several different calculators and pretty consistant on all.

    So what should I eat to lose 1 pound per week? Do I take 500 off 2550 and stay between 1855 and 2050?
  • Here's what I would do... I would start at 1800, since in my experience most people underestimate the calories that they are consuming... And if you lose about a 1lb a week great... If you lose more than you can always add a few more calories back... or just stay with it if it's working for you...
