What are some good foods to eat AFTER a work out? I don't want to ruin all the hard work I do during those work outs, but is it ok to have a snack or something light after a work out....and what is OK to eat?

Protein. It provides the amino acids your muscles need for recovery and growth.
Yes, it is okay. Apple with nut butter, greek yogurt or cottage cheese is good with some veggies. Back when I was working out, I usually made a spinach/cucumber/grape tomato salad with some cottage cheese/hot sauce mix as "dressing" for post-workout snack. Oh yea, sometimes I mix a little bit of greek yogurt in my peanut butter to eat with apples for more of a protein boost.
