Hello :)

  • I thought I would intro myself here because it seems to be the best fit. I'm 27 years old and have spent most of my life overweight. I was down to a much healthier weight several years ago, but unfortunately gained it back and am now almost back to my highest weight.

I have a great motivation now to start and maintain a healthier lifestyle. I have a 1 year old son that is my whole world. It took us 2 years and fertility treatment to conceive him, due to PCOS combined with male factor infertility. My husband and I are ready for another baby, but I would like to be on the path to a healthier lifestyle and have lost a few pounds before we start treatment again in April. I know I won't be anywhere near my goal by then, but I hope to weigh less than I did when I got pregnant with our son. I don't plan to diet, I really just want to change my lifestyle. I want my kids to grow up knowing what it is to eat healthy and stay active. I definitely did not have that as a kid(both parents were very obese).

Anyway, I was a member here years ago under a different name and it was great support/motivation for me so I thought I would give it a go again.
