How much did you lose your 2nd week of WW Points Plus?

  • I am on my second week of weight watchers points plus and just wondering how much you all lost on week 2. I lost 4.6 pounds during my first week and I'm looking forward to weighing in on Sunday.

    4.6 for your first week is awesome!! Mine was about 4 lbs my first week .. 1.5 the second ... a gain my third week (but a loss of inches, not sure why the scale was going up .. I think it was due to muscle expansion from starting a normal workout routine) ... and back down -4 on my forth week.

    It sort of varies from person to person ... -4 each week really isnt a 'healthly' ~ that's a pretty big number (although, I shoot for 3 myself) ... I've had to learn this last go round, dont depend so much on numbers as much as the way your clothes are fitting, how you're feeling ... all that good stuff. The numbers are just an added bonus!!!
  • Thanks for the response! I know I will not have a loss like that every week but I am hoping for at least a 2 pound loss each week. Do you use your weekly points?
  • Well, I use the old WW plan rather than the PP ... I do it 'at home' and I knew the old system really well and know it works well for me ... So I stuck with what I 'knew' ...

    A lot of the Ladies on the 'January Chat Thread' are doing the PP ... You could hop onto that one and check it out!!!
  • I lost 6 lb my second week... it kinda went like this:

    Week 1 - 5 lb
    Week 2 - 6 lb
    Week 3 - 4 lb
    Week 4 -0
    Week 5 - 0
    Week 6 - 0
    Week 7 - 4

    I use every single one of my weekly points. 2 out of the 3 weeks where I lost nothing were weeks when I cut back on the flex points..one week I ate half and the other I ate none. The third week I started the Wendie plan which uses all your flex points and magically dropped another 4 lb.. I guess I am lucky
  • I lost a whopping 6lbs my first week and then only .9lbs my second week... I think you either lose a lot in the second week because your body is still adjusting or you lose very little because you did something that doesn't work for you and you're still figuring out how best to use the plan.

    What killed my second week was having a weigh-in day too close to my "off day" over the weekend. Now I weigh in on Thursdays, as far after the weekend as possible, and I'm doing much better!
  • I lost 3 pounds but I was on a reduced calorie diet beforehand anyways. That was my 4th week on that. I also lose fast in the beginning.
  • I lost 2.8 wk1 and then 2.1 wk2. I lost each week for 27 weeks straight til my first gain, lol! I like WW because when it comes to taking notes and writing things down, I'm very anal and so followed the program religiously.

    I'm just past 1 year on program and while I'm not as strict as I was in the beginning, I'm still op and I still love it. WW is a way of life...a way I can eat forever, depending upon what I choose to spend my points on and I love that!

  • I didn't lose any my second week. (Just weighed in today myself) Heard that it could be my pending time of the month and/or my body is still adjusting. I'm not giving up yet! :-)
  • Dont give up! I lost NOTHING my 2nd week and then lost 3.4 my third week. That was motivation to keep going. I am on week 4 now but not really sure how good its going to go since Valentines day is tomorrow! I do plan on having a strawberry and champagne cupcake from a local bakery! I am going to try to stay within my daily point range.
  • I didn't lose anything my second weeks and actually gaines .4lbs! BUT...I didn't give up and lost 4.2lbs the 3rd week. KEEP GOING!
  • I did not exercise and I was "preparing" for a standstill on the scale... but I lost 3.6!!! That is 9.8 in two weeks.

    I did use some of my weeklies on Valentine Day.... but not all of them, more like 1/4 of them.

  • I lost 3 before I started WW, I lost 8lbs the first week, then 1.4 the second week and 4.5 the third.
  • I will have a tale from the scale tomorrow after I weigh in. I'm not feeling confident about weigh in so I've prepared myself.
  • I started WW on 2/6 and I lost 4.6 the first week and 2.0 pounds today.
