I can actually hear the birds singing outside as I sit here. I will be going out to pool to swim laps in a minute.

Yesterday was good. I am looking for the same today. I am not here as often but I am always lurking.
Nita-it will be great to see you on stage as a KOP next year. I wish there was a hotel closer.I have several people saying they are going.
We haven't had a meeting in almost 3 weeks and that is way too long. The library had special stuff going on and we could not use room.
I had hoped for a big loss but will be gratefull for any loss.
Of course I just keep gaining and losing the same 5#.

Me i have a little ways to go, but am trying. As usual not as much as could be. But I will get there.
SRD was awesome. As usuall. Had a few mishaps though. NO biggy. They had 3 workshops that you could attentend. One lady was awesome, had most of us crying by the time she finished, but she was funny. She spoke on basically making lite of situation. Don't sweat the simple stuff you know. She talked a lot about her mother, she had to have been an awesome woman. The entertainment on Friday night was good. They also had kareokie. That was fun too. Me and another girl from the group went to a bar that they had in the hotel and had a couple of drinks and shot some pool. Then we went back to kareokie. We were up till 12:30 and i had set the alarm for 5. Hit the snooze. Messed up the clock. Exercised at 5:45 Saturday mornning, and then got ready for the day. We had about 2,000 there that day. Glad i didn't know about that before I started reading the names. By the time I got done doing it, my tongue was sticking to the roof of my mouth. My area captain couldn't be there, they had found cancer on her mothers bladder, and they had to do surgery. They were going to do bypass surgery, but they don't think she will make it through that one. We had 2 ladies end up in the hospital one on Friday night with her blood sugar level at 30. I guess the other one had been there most of the week with something, and made it out.
The cordinator ahead of the SRD son did the national Anthem with his sax, and was a complete gentleman all day helping the ladies. He towards the end presented his mother with a rose, and we all were crying. It was awesome. The King is a preacher and talked how God doesn't want us to be overweight because our bodies are to be a temple of the Lord. I completely understand. The Queen has been in Tops for 20 years, and talked how she was blaming everyone for her weight problem. she was blameing the Tops group because they weren't helping her lose the weight, but when she took another look at it, she started taking advantage of all the contest, and actually reading the information that was given to her at her meetings. She stopped looking for excuses and started doing something about it. She basically uses the exchange system. I like that system, but I too find excuses for not letting it work for me. Too much work in figureing out the exchanges on multi exchange foods. I too need to stop finding excuses. Well that's about it. Talk to you all later.
